V2ray Guide for macOS

This guide shows you how to use V2rayU, a native and easy-to-use V2ray client for macOS.

Prerequisites

Ensure you have allowed apps from "Identified developers" in your macOS Security settings to run V2rayU.

Step 1: Install V2rayU

  1. Download the latest V2rayU.dmg from the official repository.
  2. Open the DMG file and drag V2rayU to your Applications folder.
  3. Launch V2rayU from your Applications folder or Launchpad.

Step 2: Add Subscription

  1. Click the V2rayU icon in the menu bar.
  2. Go to Subscribe Settings.
  3. Click Add, enter a name, and paste your subscription URL.
  4. Click Save.

Step 3: Update Servers

  1. Click the V2rayU icon again.
  2. Select Server Update -> Subscribe Update.
  3. Wait for the update to complete.

Step 4: Turn On Proxy

  1. Select a server from the Servers list in the menu bar.
  2. Click Turn On to start the proxy.
  3. Choose a mode: Global (all traffic) or Manual (Rule-based).
Note

V2rayU uses a kernel to handle traffic. If you encounter issues, try switching the kernel version in the tray menu settings.
