v2rayNG Guide for HarmonyOS

HarmonyOS supports Android applications (APK), allowing you to use v2rayNG for secure browsing.

Step 1: Download v2rayNG​

  1. Open Huawei AppGallery or download the latest APK from the official GitHub releases.
  2. If downloading the APK, open it and tap Install. You may need to bypass the security check by choosing "Install anyway".
  3. Launch the app.

Step 2: Add Subscription​

  1. Copy your subscription link.
  2. Inside v2rayNG, open the side menu and select Subscription settings.
  3. Tap the + icon at the top.
  4. Input a name and paste your URL.
  5. Tap the checkmark icon to save.

Step 3: Update Servers​

  1. Go back to the main screen.
  2. Tap the three dots (Menu) and select Update subscription.
  3. A list of available servers will appear.

Step 4: Connect​

  1. Select a server from the list.
  2. Tap the circular button at the bottom right.
  3. If HarmonyOS asks for VPN permission, tap Allow.
  4. The button will turn green when the connection is active.
Battery Optimization

To ensure the proxy stays active, go to Settings -> Battery -> App launch, find v2rayNG, and set it to Manage manually with all options enabled.
